The Bespoke Custom Tailored Suit

Bespoke is a British-English word that means a clothing item made to a buyer's high degree of specification and customization. Bespoke clothing is traditionally cut from a pattern drafted from scratch for the customer and hand sewn.

The suits are made in a four step process:

a) the client picks the fabric

b) a pattern is custom made and a quality shell is produced

c) the client comes in to be fitted and adjusted

d) the client comes in for the last fitting and chooses specialty details such as surgeon cuffs, monogrammed initials, etc.

Because of the extensive amount of hours and painstaking labor that is poured into each bespoke suit, they are typically more pricey than off the rack or made-to-measure suits. However, they are an excellent investment and will hold their shape and integrity for many years. The difference is unmistakable.
